Who should take this Windows Server Hybrid Administrator course?

This is a good course for mid-level Windows administrators who have history running mixed on-prem and Azure workloads. If you need to learn how to manage failover clusters, Azure VMs and PowerShell automation, this is the course to take – if you already know how to do that, this course prepares you for the cert that proves your expertise.

How much does it cost to earn the Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate?

The Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate has two exams. AZ-800 and AZ-801 both cost $165, so if you’re planning on earning the cert, you’re spending at least $330. Microsoft offers one free test assessment before you attempt the exams, plus there are prep labs and training you can take to help make sure you pass both on the first attempt.

Does learning hybrid Windows Server administration pay well?

Yes, as more companies transition their on-prem services to remote and hybrid set-ups, they need trained administrators who are familiar with the ins and outs of Hybrid Windows Server services. Some cloud Windows Server administrator positions can pay as much as $95K - $125K.
